If you’ve been to sleeping bear dunes, then you know how this painting got its title. Truly one of the most magnificent sights I’ve ever seen, it was almost a shame to have to work on this painting rather than enjoy the park. I set up my easel on the end of the boardwalk with a clip light attached my easel. I was there long after the sun had set, everyone else had left, and the coyotes had begun to sing.
