This scene was painted beneath the railroad trestle over a boardwalk on the trail just outside Oryana Co-Op. This scene jumped out to me for the contrast of strong vertical and diagonal elements with the glow of the blues, greens and yellows cascading from top left to bottom right. My goal as a painter is to find views that are rhythmic, under appreciated, and easily accessed by the public so as to honor the beauty of commonly shared spaces.
