Kathleen Conover's life-long love of art started in the fertile art-environment of southern California's “School of Art”.  Academic fine art studies started at San Diego State University and commenced with a Master of Arts earned from Northern Michigan University, where she now resides.  As a full time artist, Kathleen exhibits internationally, juries exhibitions, gives demonstrations and is sought after for teaching creative and in-depth workshops.  She has earned signature status in multiple organizations including AWS-DF, NWS-MA, TWSA-MA.  Juried in over 100 national and international exhibitions, Kathleen has won many prestigious awards including the AWS Silver Medal of Honor, TWSA Best of Show Skyledge Award, CWS Best of Show, ISEA Best of Show Nautilus Award.  

In 2025 she completed her Plein Air painting adventures in the “7th. Contingent”, Antarctica.  Having taught workshops, painted, and filled sketchbooks in all seven continents she is actively giving her program, “Through the Artist's Eye”, to the public in Florida and Michigan.
