Elizabeth’s personal art history extends back decades. Art as a path, a language, and a personal frontier has been present from the time of her childhood. She earned her BFA from The College for Creative Studies, where she later taught. She also worked as a freelance editorial illustrator and was nationally awarded. Later as digital images replaced those that were traditionally created, Elizabeth’s interests turned in the direction of representational painting.
Her paintings find their power in discovering the extraordinary in everyday life. Elizabeth’s work has received a strong reception in the art world, collecting numerous awards as well as media coverage. Her work resides in numerous collections throughout the country.
Her special designations include Oil Painters of America Signature Member, American Impressionist Society Signature Member, American Women Artists Master Signature Member and Society of Animal Artists Signature Member.
